L'équipe EKOÏ.com/Gaspesien qui prend part au tour de Beauce  joue de mal chance depuis le début du tour.

Lors de la première étape, partie 13ième dans la caravane, ce chiffre a porté malchance! Charles Bryer, Émile Jean on eu chacun 2 ennuis mécanique, Jean Samuel Deshaies et Pierrick Naud ont eu pour leur part un ennui chacun. Le dernier ennui est survenu à un très mauvais moment ''à moins de 8 km de l'arrivée, Pierrick a fait une crevaison et nous l'avons attendu car c'était le coureur le plus en forme de l'équipe'' Rapporte Jordan Brochu. Malgré cet effort d'équipe, Pierrick n'a pas pu revenir aux avant postes pour disputé le sprint final.

Lors de la deuxième étape, la course s'est déroulé sans problème majeur. à moins de 5 km de l'arrivée, 3 coureurs de l'équipe était en bonne position pour le sprint final. Pierrick  a encore une fois eu une crevaison qui l'a contraint à oublier une fois de plus son sprint. '' J'ai voulu attendre Pierrick pour le ramener, mais c'était une erreur de ma part, car Pierrick et moi avons raté notre sprint'' rapporte Jordan Brochu. Comme si la malchance n'était pas suffisante. à 2 km de l'arrivée le seul représentant restant a crevé lui aussi! Jean Samuel Deshaies a été crédité du temps du peloton, mais n'a pas pus disputéer le sprint final.

Demain l'étape de Mégantic avec la montée mythique du mont Mégantic.

EKOÏ.com/Gaspesien is presently racing in Beauce but so far hasn't had much luck since the beginning of the Tour.

Stage 1:

The first obstacle we had to overcome was starting from an unfavourable 13th position.

Charles Bryer and Émile Jean had multiple mechanical problems during the race and Jean Samuel Deshaies and Pierrick Naud also had  issues. But the main set back in this stage happened late in the race as Pierrick Naud got a flat only 8km from the finish.  

Jordan Brochu  and Jean-Samuel Deschaies then worked to bring Pierrick back to the main peloton but unfortunately due to the timing was unable to place himself for the final sprint.

Stage 2:

The second stage was going well as we had three riders in good position until 5km from the end when Pierrick Naud got yet another flat. As a team, the first instinct is to tend to your leader, but this late in the race Jordan Brochu's decision to wait for Pierrick Naud took both of them out of contention.

''I wanted to wait for Pierrick to bring him back to the peleton but it was a mistake as we both missed the final sprint'' related Jordan.

The only rider left in the front group, Jean Samuel Deschaies then flatted 2km from the finish and also missed the final sprint. But he was credited the same time as the front group.

Stage 3: Thursday June 14, 2012-Mont Magantic
