May 19, 2012 (Mont Tremblant, QC) – Sandra Walter (Xprezo-Borsao) topped the Elite Women’s field at the Canada MTB Cup XC #1 opener at Mont Tremblant on Saturday for her first Canada Cup win ever, while Raphaël Gagné (Rocky Mountain Factory) was the strongest today in the Elite Men’s race with a commanding victory of almost 2 min. Sunny, warm conditions greeted riders for the launch of the series.
