Contrecoeur, April 21, 2012 - Remi Pelletier-Roy (Garneau-Quebecor) won the elite men's road race today with help from Garneau team-mate Brett Tivers under
cold and rainy conditions.
A five rider breakaway group was
formed during the first lap of the 8 lap, 107.2 km race and gained close to a
two minute lead over the main peleton. Late in the race with approximately 2.5
laps to go, Tivers and Pelletier-Roy broke away from the main break and developed
a sizable lead of their own and held on to give Garneau-Quebecor a one two
finish.

Super belle organisation!
